Konecranes’ business is divided into three segments – Service, Industrial Equipment and Port Solutions. Konecranes Service offers specialized maintenance services and spare parts for all types and makes of industrial cranes and hoists. Konecranes Industrial Equipment provides an extensive range of industrial cranes, from components and light duty applications to demanding process use and solutions. Konecranes Port Solutions provides equipment, software and service for the container handling industry.

For over a decade, Etteplan has been a trusted partner and preferred supplier for Konecranes’ Port Solutions business area. Since 2013, Etteplan has provided various technical communication services to support Port Solutions’ offering to their customers. The continuous service model has been built globally according to the company's needs.

Konecranes’ Port Solutions business area utilizes Etteplan's technical communication experts from Finland, Poland, China, Germany and Sweden. In total, there are 12 Etteplan employees in Port Solutions’ technical communication team.
