Melissa Wieslander: Board-loving technical writer

Technical writer by day and the biggest enjoyer of life on the weekends – Melissa Wieslander has found her perfect balance in life since she started working at Etteplan. She works as a technical writer for various customers and companies around the world. She loves the great variety the role offers. Melissa likes that she gets the opportunity to immerse herself in new machines and innovations, and to establish and nurture relationships with interesting people around the world.

Melissa finds her role as a technical writer both fun and challenging, as she gets to be the link between technical experts and the end user. Each project is exciting and developing in its own way, and often provides valuable experience to take into the next assignment. "I refine complex technical information by getting to know how, for example, a machine works, and then simplifying the information so that the end user can handle and use it."

Melissa feels she has a lot of freedom under responsibility and that it has benefited her since she started at Etteplan. She gets the space she needs to put together the famous puzzle of life - hanging out with family and friends, but also getting time to be on her boards. "The whole world could be my workplace and it is fun and rewarding to have colleagues all over Sweden, and in other countries!"

Last, but certainly not least: world-class colleagues! "These people are not only colleagues, but they have also become my friends." In addition to interesting assignments, the weekdays are topped off with an incredible amount of laughter and joy at the office in Jönköping where Melissa works. "Our fuel is humor, community and generosity, both in terms of knowledge and friendship. We have a fantastically good cohesion. A winning concept, I think!”
