Fortum Hydro and Etteplan continue strategic partnership within Asset Information Management

Fortum Hydro has decided to continue its strategic partnership with Etteplan for their Asset Information Management.

Fortum Hydro and Etteplan have had a strategic partnership related to Fortum’s Asset Information Management since its’ outsourcing in 2014. In the spring of 2024, Fortum decided to open up the agreement to competition. In May 2024, Fortum announced that Etteplan once again provided the best offer and quality, and that Fortum and Etteplan will continue their agreement.

“I am excited that we will continue to deliver Asset Information Management to Fortum both for operation and maintenance as well as support in the investment projects. We will have a forward focus and help Fortum to not only embrace the future but also shape the future within Asset Information Management, ” says Lina Bäckman, Manager Asset Information Management Solutions at Etteplan.

The agreement involves management of Fortum’s asset information throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring the availability of the right information at the right time as well as increasing the quality of existing information. The agreement involves technical, legal and property information.
