Etteplan expands its operations in the Netherlands by acquiring technical documentation & visualization specialist DDCom B.V.

Etteplan continues to expand and its operations in the Netherlands through an acquisition. The acquisition of DDCom B.V. strengthens Etteplan’s capabilities in 3D content-based animation and visualization services related to technical documentation.
The company is located in the Eindhoven area and employs some 15 specialist. DDCom B.V.’s customers operate in automotive, high tech, med tech and product manufacturing industries and include high profile companies such as DAF Trucks, ASML, VDL, Philips & Shimano.
“Through the acquisition, Etteplan will strengthen its ability to deliver technical documentation solutions and services in the Netherlands. After the acquisition Etteplan employs over 200 people in the Netherlands in six different locations.
Etteplan first started its operations in the Netherlands in 2012 through the acquisition of Tedopres technical documentation business. In 2019 Etteplan strengthened its presence by the acquisition of the technical documentation specialist Triview Technical Communication BV. and in 2020 expanded its Dutch operations to Engineering Solutions through the acquisition of Tegema, a production system integrator specializing in customized precision mechanics and mechatronics.
