Etteplan releases HyperSTE 8.0 Content Quality Checker

Etteplan announces the release of HyperSTE version 8.0, the leading authoring software that ensures your content is clear, concise and consistent, to have more impact with your global audience while reducing cost.
HyperSTE is available as a plugin to your authoring environment or as a standalone version and “reads” your content based on technical English rules for terminology, spelling, grammar, length, style and structure. The result is content that is more suitable for a global audience, while saving documentation and translation cost. HyperSTE also ensures compliance with various content standards, such as ASD-STE100 and Plain Language.

The latest updates include:
- New authoring tooling support – we now support WebX Systems UltraAuthor, XMetaL 10, 11 and 12, OxygenXML Author & Editor 18.1, 19, 19.1 and 20, MadCap Flare 2017 and 2018
- Batch checking support – via Command Prompt we now allow (multiple) batch checking reports without the need to have the authoring application open
- Quick Report feature – to be able to check (very large) SGM and XML files, which will truly help ATA iSPEC 2200 users, we implemented the Quick Report feature
With the release of HyperSTE 8.0, Etteplan is also pleased to welcome new HyperSTE customers Schlumberger, Texas Instruments and General Dynamics.
