E-commerce company CoolStuff turns to Etteplan for quality assurance of their product documentation

News, Press release – Published: 21.06.2017 12:09:00

The Engineering company Etteplan has signed an exclusive cooperation agreement with CoolStuff AB in Sweden. This agreement makes Etteplan a strategic partner for delivery of technical documentation services. Etteplan is to ensure that the products sold by CoolStuff comply with all regulatory requirements regarding documentation, labelling, warnings, etc. This means that CoolStuff can place the right kind of demands on their subcontractors and thereby shorten their lead times and minimize risks regarding product range development.

In order to simplify the delivery process, Etteplan’s work order webportal will be used to ensure simple and transparent handling throughout the value chain. This makes it easy to follow up on efficiency, delivery reliability and deviation management.

The work will mainly be carried out by Etteplan’s documentation specialists in Uppsala, Sweden, who have a long-standing experience of clients with products that are subject to strict regulatory requirements.

– We are honored to have been chosen as an exclusive partner. This agreement signals that we offer the right methods and tools to future-proof our clients’ competitiveness, says Mikael Vatn, SVP Central & Western Europe, Etteplan.

– We chose Etteplan because of their extensive experience with technical documentation for businesses with high requirements of reliability and safety. In this way we can be certain that our product documentation meets the authorities’ demands in different markets and that the consumers get the correct product and image information. With an inventory that over the years has contained over 500 000 articles, efficient and correct consumer information is key to our continued success, especially now that we expand into new markets, says Kajsa Knapp, founder of CoolStuff AB.
