The FINAS accreditation service has granted accreditation to the Jyväskylä testing laboratory of Espotel Oy, which is part of the Etteplan Group, in accordance with requirement SFS-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. The company’s accreditation code is T298.

In practice, accreditation means that Espotel Oy can offer its customers accredited EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) testing in compliance with the standards. EMC testing can be used to verify the electromagnetic compatibility of products. Espotel Oy’s scope of accreditation can be viewed on FINAS’s website, at: https://www.finas.fi/Documents/T298_A01_2016.pdf .

There are only a handful of accredited commercial EMC test laboratories in Finland.

– This accreditation is an important testament to the quality of our operations. Having an EMC test lab that is approved by the authorities will speed up customers’ product development, as the development work and standard-based measurements can be easily implemented by one service provider, ” says Etteplan’s Kari Liuska, SVP, Embedded Systems and IoT.
