Etteplan involved in the design of Red Dot Award winning product

Getinge a leading provider of disinfection and sterilization solutions within the healthcare and life science segments has received a Red Dot Award for its GSS67H sterilizer.

Etteplan has been a significant part of the Getinge team developing the new generation sterilizer for Getinge Infection Control AB. The involvement spans over several areas such as mechanical design and verification of control system software. Etteplan’s Industrial designer Tomas Stringdahl has been a member of the Industrial Design team at Getinge. Getinge IC AB together with Etteplan’s Tomas Stringdahl has been credited to the Red Dot Award winning design in the product design category.

Red Dot is an internationally recognized quality label for excellent design. The statement by the Red Dot jury regarding Getinge’s sterilizer says: “The ratio of footprint to volume is excellent in this steriliser. The materials employed meet high requirements with regard to cleanliness and hygiene.”
