Etteplan helps Valmet develop its cost competitiveness

Engineering company Valmet has awarded Etteplan as a partner that has been the most successful in developing the company’s cost competitiveness. Valmet’s award criteria included Etteplan’s positive and active attitude towards new responsibilities and operating practices globally as well as its flexibility to increase capacity in Finland and in a cost-competitive country. Etteplan was also praised for its long-term efforts in developing operations, personnel and competence.

For close to 30 years, the engineering co-operation between Etteplan and Valmet has evolved into a strategic partnership. In addition to design engineering, Etteplan also supplies Valmet with technical documentation services. In the past few years, design engineering assignments have increasingly been carried out in Etteplan’s Chinese units.
