Etteplan supports Metso Paper Sweden in the design of an energy efficient tissue machine

Etteplan has been commissioned by Metso Paper Sweden AB to cooperate on the design of Metso’s new tissue machine. The new tissue machine, built on Metso’s Advantage NTT technology, enables the production of textured tissue with high bulk content and softness while providing considerable energy savings in production. The tissue machine is expected to be operational in summer 2014.
Etteplan delivers mechanical engineering and structural analysis services for the machine from its engineering design units in Karlstad, Sweden and Kunshan, China. Etteplan and Metso have a long-standing partnership spanning over 30 years and covering Metso’s different business units. Metso Svenska AB has chosen Etteplan as one of its preferred suppliers.
