Etteplan selected as Ensto’s main partner

Press release – Published: 26.03.2013 12:00:00

Etteplan and Ensto have signed a framework agreement on global co-operation in engineering, covering all of Ensto’s subsidiaries and business areas. Ensto is Europe’s leading company specialised in the development, manufacture and marketing of electrical systems and supplies. The agreement is in force until further notice.

The framework agreement extends the co-operation between the companies to cover all areas of technical engineering and technical product information. Some of the services will be supplied from China, where Etteplan has previously acted as Ensto’s partner in quality assurance.

“Co-operation with Etteplan gives us access to the best possible know-how and the most advanced methods available on the market. We chose Etteplan as our main partner, because the company is able to meet our engineering needs on a broad basis. In addition to that, our experiences with the quality level and cost-effectiveness of Etteplan’s Chinese units have been excellent, ” says Simo Lindval, Director Group Quality and Technology at Ensto.

“We are very pleased to see that our co-operation with Ensto has deepened over the years. The agreement that we have signed also bears testimony to the fact that our operating model and competence bring concrete benefits to our customers, ” says Juha Näkki, CEO at Etteplan.
