ETTEPLAN OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE FEBRUARY 24, 2012 AT 10:00 A.M.
ETTEPLAN OYJ UPDATES ITS STRATEGY AND RENEWS ORGANIZATION
Etteplan lifts Engineering Methods as the fourth strategic theme to complement the themes specified in 2009: Customer Focus, Service Solutions and One Etteplan. The goal of the company is to be market leader in the development of advanced engineering methods. Engineering methods is defined as expertise and tacit knowledge on engineering processes, practices, products and technologies. With the help of advanced engineering methods Etteplan differentiates from the competitors.
Etteplan’s knowledge of advanced engineering methods is the sum of focused efforts, the development of in-house operating models and business acquisitions. The knowledge of engineering methods has enabled the development of versatile solutions, which include, among others, Etteplan’s service products and high-quality offshoring services from China. The company is developing engineering methods to correspond to emerging customer needs.
Focusing on engineering methods development complements and strengthens Etteplan’s current strategy. The strategy has worked well in the prevailing market situation; the company has grown faster than the markets and strengthened its market position.
