Stock exchange release – Published: 17.01.2012 8:30:00

ETTEPLAN OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE JANUARY 17, 2012 AT 08:30 A.M.

A CHANGE IN ETTEPLAN OYJ’S SILENT PERIOD

As of January 17, 2012, Etteplan observes a silent period of 28 days prior to the announcement of financial results. During this period Etteplan‘s officers and employees refrain from making any contacts or comments to investors, analysts and the media about the company’s business prospects, financial results, or projections.

If any incident that arises during a closed period is subject to timely disclosure, Etteplan will, however, without undue delay disclose the information according to the disclosure regulations and may comment that particular matter.

The change will be effective and applied as of January 17, 2012. Etteplan will correspondingly change its Insider Policy, so that the closed window rule for insiders enters into force and ends at the same time as the silent period. Insiders are not allowed to trade in the company’s securities during the closed window period.

According to previous Insider Policy persons included in the company’s insider register may only engage in trading in company securities within six (6) weeks after publication of results, with the provision that they are not in possession of insider information specific to a project.
