ETTEPLAN TO APPLY FOR LISTING ON THE HELSINKI STOCK EXCHANGE
MAIN LIST

The Board of Directors of Etteplan Oyj (the Company) has, in
its meeting on 10 March 2005, resolved to submit an application
to the Helsinki Stock Exchange Ltd (the Helsinki Stock Exchange)
for the transfer of the Company's shares, currently listed on
the NM-list, to the Main List of the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
Etteplan will submit its application for listing today. Trading
in the Company's shares is expected to commence on the Main List
of the Helsinki Stock Exchange on or about 24 May 2005.

The Board of Directors of Etteplan Oyj considers that with the
transfer of the Company's shares to the Main List of the Helsinki
Stock Exchange the Company has better possibilities to reach
investors and the transfer to the Main List improves the liquidity
of the company's shares thus making the pricing of the company's
shares on the Helsinki Stock Exchange more efficient as well as
increases the visibility of the Company. In addition the Board
of Directors of Etteplan Oyj considers that the transfer to the
Main List of the Helsinki Stock Exchange secures the Company's
international growth potential since in a possible acquisition
a more liquid share on the Main List is more attractive for the
counter party.

The Board of Directors of Etteplan Oyj has given an account of
the future outlook and recent developments of Etteplan in the
interim report published on 3 May 2005.

Etteplan has compiled a Finnish language listing particulars
in connection with the transfer to the Main List, which is
estimated to be published on or about 19 May 2005. The Company
will issue a separate stock exchange release on the publication
of the listing particulars.

Member of the Board of Directors of Etteplan Oyj, M.Sc. (Tech.)
Tapani Tuori, passed away on May 12, 2005 after a severe illness.
Tapani Tuori became a member of Etteplan Oyj's Board of Directors
in 1986 and he was the chairman of the Board from 1987 to 1997.
The company will complete the composition of the Board of
Directors in the next Annual General Meeting at the latest.
