ETTEPLAN AND SISU AUTO SIGNED A CO-OPERATION AGREEMENT

Etteplan Oyj and Oy Sisu Auto Ab have signed a co-operation
agreement. According to the agreement Etteplan provides flexibly and
cost-effectively design and project management services to Sisu Auto.

As part of the agreement 11 designers from the product development
department of Sisu Auto’s Karjaa factory will transfer to Etteplan
on 1 October 2004 under their current terms of employment. To Sisu
Auto strategically important core know-how of truck technology and
product development will remain in Sisu Auto.

The agreement strengthens Etteplan’s position as a provider of design
services for the automotive industry and other mobile vehicles and
gives good presumptions to further development of operations.

Through this outsourcing operation, Sisu Auto aims to strengthen
resources, improve functional flexibility and cost efficiency in
the design functions.

Oy Sisu Auto Ab is in 1931 established a full service truck house.
The annual output of Sisu Auto is about 500 vehicles of which more
than 20 percent is exported. Sisu Auto is also an importer of
Renault trucks. Sisu is a market leader in Finland for earth-hauling
trucks and heavy over 26 ton vehicles. The turnover of the company
is over EUR 125 million and it employs 530 persons. About 200 persons
