ETTEPLAN AND SULZER PUMPS FINLAND SIGNED A CO-OPERATION AGREEMENT

Etteplan Oyj and Sulzer Pumps Finland Oy have signed a co-operation
agreement. According to the agreement Etteplan provides design
services such as agitator related design to Sulzer Pumps Finland Oy.
As part of the agreement 6 designers from the Sulzer Pumps Finland’s
Salo office will transfer to Etteplan on 1 September 2004 under their
current terms of employment.

The agreement deepens the long-standing customership between the
companies. The design operations of Etteplan Oyj’s Salo office will
be combined with the design unit transferred from Sulzer Pumps
Finland Oy. This will strengthen Etteplan’s position in the Salo area
and gives good presumptions to further development of operations.

Through this outsourcing operation, Sulzer Pumps Finland Oy aims to
improve functional flexibility and cost efficiency in the design
functions.

Sulzer Pumps Finland Oy is a part of the global Sulzer Pumps
Division, with production and packaging units in 15 countries and
sales offices, service centers and representatives in more than 150
countries. The Pump Division generates a turnover of about 650
million euro and it employs 4500 persons. Sulzer Pumps Finland Oy
offers pumping and mixing solutions and related services to the pulp
and paper industry, power plants, the food, metal and fertilizer
industry as well as for water and wastewater treatment and
distribution. The company employs 750 persons in Finland.
