Are you up-to-date on the latest cyber security regulations?
In March 2024, the EU Parliament reached a major milestone in the long-term effort to modernize European safety and security regulations to mitigate risks caused by software in general, by adopting the Cyber Resilience Act and the Artificial Intelligence Act.
A dozen new regulations will start applying in the EU during 2024-2027 related to the safety and security of all software and hardware products, as well as the information security management of essential and important entities and their operational systems.
In this episode of the Cybersecurity Regulations Update webinar series, we will begin by examining the overall regulatory landscape in the EU and comparing it to developments in the USA and globally.
This will be followed by a detailed analysis of the final requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act, and a summary of how software and hardware product companies and their supply chains will be affected as product security becomes a horizontal requirement.
The webinar will conclude by discussing the challenges, experiences, and solutions involved in transitioning into a company that develops and maintains secure-by-design software and hardware in order to legally continue selling products with digital elements in the EU. The transformation of the supply chain will also be discussed.
Agenda:
